AgrochemEx, CAC (Autumn) and BCPC Review
2009-10-10

The AgrochemEx which previously held in Nanjing was moved to Shanghai on 27-29 September. This event has attracted the participation of local Chinese and Indian exhibitors, whereas most visitors were from South East Asia and East Asia. European and American visitors were far less in comparison to the March fair, mainly a result of having too many events so close to each other- the FCI Summit Trade fair in August and another coming fair in October.

Coming next, CAC will be lauching another autumn fair in Shanghai Everbright Convention Centre from 15-17 October. Anticipation for visitors coming from overseas may not be as many as in the Spring (March).

In November 9-11, the BCPC Congress will return to Glasgow again. Being one of the most recognized event in the international crop protection calender, the congress was suspended last year due to lack of sustainable financial support, as it is fully sponsored by a non profit organization. Following the formation of an important industry alliance between the BCPC and UBM (owner of Farmers Guardian, Informex USA, CPhI and Food Ingredients), the congress was being re-launched, and is gladly welcomed by all industrial partners.

The Season of Agrochemical Exhibitions
2009-9-25

The 9th Agrochemex will be held within 2 days in Shanghai. It is organized by CCPIA (China crop protection industry association) Many manufacturers and traders are busy for preparation. It’s an important exhibition in the calendar of China agro markets.

The CAC 2009 Autumn will be held on 15-17th in Shanghai. It is the first time CCPIT (China Council For The Promotion of International Trade) holds the event in autumn. On another hand, after last year’s cancellation, BCPC Congress will be coming back again from 9-11 November.

Now the financial crisis has not over yet, there is no significant evidence that shows the world financial situation has been better than before. Is there a need to hold so many shows at almost one time?
